AGRITRADE Organises seminars/conferences/workshops/Trainings on trade-related subjects such as quality (sanitary and Phyto-sanitary), Traceability, etc. AGRITRADE collaborates and partners with other agencies, including government and private sectors groups, financial institutions and foreign entities to deliver value to its members.

In the current changing era of import of agricultural products, majority of the importing countries are asking for quality; pest and disease free and complete traceable material for import. The Sanitary and Phyto-sanitary requirements are becoming stringent not only for developed countries but for developing countries like India, Saudi Arabia, UAE, South Africa, etc., too. Developed countries like Germany, Canada, USA, Japan, Australia, European Union etc. have developed a system for importing agriculture produce and provided SOP.

 For the same the capacity building of all the stakeholders i.e. growers, pack house operators, special treatment facilities, Sanitary & Phyto-sanitary certification authorities, staff of concerned line departments, exporters, logistics supplier, custom house agents, and the new entrepreneurs etc. need to be enhanced.
