Biography

Lwantale Rachel Precious is the Director Business Development at AGRITRADE Uganda. She has spearheaded strategic partnerships for trade finance and equipment financing, developed a five-year strategic plan and company structure, and facilitated international trade missions for 14 members across Europe and Africa. Her efforts have strengthened member capacity and expanded market opportunities within Uganda’s agribusiness ecosystem.

 

She is serving as a Business Development Consultant and Coach with SE4A (Social Enterprise for Africa) and Einstein Rising, and has trained over 100 startups in business modeling, financial planning, and investor readiness, enabling several to secure investment and scale sustainably. She emphasizes integrating social enterprise models, human-centered design, and innovation for long-term impact.

 

She managed The Cold Chain Project (sponsored by Creamo, Belgium), leading an 8-member team to realign operations, set up monitoring systems, and coach entrepreneurs, ensuring project delivery met investor expectations and timelines.

 

While at Makerere Innovation and Incubation Center (MIIC), she supports entrepreneurship development through partnership building, mentorship, and training. Her role has led to key collaborations with UNICEF and Junior Achievers, advancing youth-focused innovation programs like UPSHIFT and Zurich Mentorship.

 

As a Resource Mobilization Consultant for Tunaweza Foundation, she has secured over USD 125,000 in grants from USAID and UN Women, facilitated funding from MTN Foundation for the Inclusive Innovation Hub, and developed institutional growth frameworks strengthening inclusivity and advocacy.

 

She is the CEO of Imali Ltd, and has directed multi-sector projects, raised over USD 2.5 million for client startups, led agricultural initiatives with OWC and Vegamo Foods, and managed consultancy engagements with USAID, AU, and HEC Paris. Her leadership has driven rural agribusiness transformation, youth entrepreneurship, and gender-inclusive development.

 

With a strong foundation in operations, strategy, and resource mobilization, she brings expertise in project leadership, partnership development, financial planning, and enterprise coaching—consistently delivering sustainable growth and measurable impact.
